Wow, wow, wow, I can’t believe I’m here writing this post and about to share this dream with you all.
Deep breath.

Hello, I’m Ashley “ashleyriott” Blake, the CEO and Founder of elsewhereNFP, and it is my absolute delight and honour to welcome you to elsewhere, a not-for-profit dedicated to innovating inclusivity in the gaming industry through data-driven insights, responsive research, and resources.
Just over a year ago, elsewhere was little more than an idea, then a necessity and an answer to a problem. Since then, we have formed an official partnership, conducted research and a panel, hosted a summit (I’ll post another whole blog on that!), and recruited a team of passionate and talented people to make a difference (Learn more about them on the team page here!). I can’t even believe it’s real, and it feels like we are just getting started.
What’s to Come
Soon, we will be at devcom, and I can’t even believe I’m saying it, hosting an official auction to raise funds for elsewhere’s mission. Additionally, we are conducting our second survey to investigate safety and inclusivity at games industry events at devcom. Your participation in this survey will contribute to solving these problems and help us understand the circumstances and frequencies of certain events to identify pathways for authentic change. If you’re going to be there and want to connect with us in person or support the auction, please reach out! I’ll put some details for that below. After that, I will pretty much be at my reasonable limit for what I can put in this inaugural post, but please know that I have so many dreams, the team has so many plans, and there is just so much to come that we can’t wait to share.
How You Can Support
Do you want to sponsor our upcoming auction at devcom or donate an item? Reach out to our Chief Partnerships Officer, Jacky Collins at jacky@elsewherenfp.com.
If you want to support us now, you can find our donation page here and our Patreon here, but really, the biggest thing you can do is subscribe to this newsletter blog thing via the form below, and share us with your networks.
Thank you for being here, for believing in us, and for joining us on this journey. Together, we can make the gaming industry a safer, more welcoming place for everyone.
With all my love,
Ashley Blake
CEO & Founder
